Bar Supervisor

About the role

The Bar Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the bar, supervising staff, maintaining high customer service standards and ensuring the venue operates safely and in accordance with relevant liquor licensing and RSA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising bar staff and day-to-day bar operations
• Providing a high standard of customer service
• Training and supporting team members
• Ensuring RSA, liquor licensing and venue procedures are followed
• Stock control and assisting with ordering and stocktakes
• Opening and closing duties
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the bar
• Supporting compliance with WHS and food/beverage safety requirements
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints appropriately
• Assisting management with the smooth operation of the venue

About you

• Previous experience in a busy hospitality or bar environment
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• The ability to lead and support a team
• Current RSA or ability to obtain the required WA certification
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
