Vehicle Body Building apprentice

What you’ll do -

Whilst studying a Certificate III Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations - Bus, Truck and Trailer and working with Borcat Trailers over 4 years, you’ll have the opportunity to work on:

• Manufacturing of aluminium and steel truck bodies
• Perform welding, grinding, drilling, polishing, filing, and other fabrication tasks.
• Participating in the assembly and manufacturing of components to create truck bodies.
• Safely using of various tools and machinery, including grinders, angle grinders, guillotines, welders, cut-off saws and hand & power tools.

What we’re looking for -

• You enjoy working with others and being part of a team.
• You’re wanting to work with your hands and have a genuine interest in the trade.
• You’re a confident communicator.
• You have basic knowledge of hand and power tools

Must-haves -

• Drivers licence (provisional or above), or close to obtaining.
