Disability Support Worker - North Richmond (female workers preferred)

About the role

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to provide support and assistance to a 31-year old male with a spinal cord injury and a traumatic brain injury, this care will help him live independently in his home.

Duties include but not limited too

• Personal care
• Continence management
  
• Assistance with Allied health tasks
  
• Shopping and community access
  
• Manual handling
• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
  
Documentation and reporting
• 
  

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Shift times available:

• Daily 10am to 1.30pm - 2 workers on each shift

Requirements:

• Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
• Current references
• Mobile phone
• Current driver's licence and your own car with insurance
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
• First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
• Working With Children Check – Paid (mandatory)
Certificate III (Ageing or Disability) or equivalent (mandatory)
