The Opportunity
Reporting to the Team Leader, Academic Administration, the Academic Coordinator is responsible for the daily delivery of the academic lifecycle, which encompasses setting academic calendars through to the release of final results.
The Academic Coordinator works closely with colleagues in English, Foundation Year and Diplomas and liaises with our offshore partners to support program quality and compliance; drive innovation and continuous improvement and undertake resulting and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Calendars and Schedules: Apply approved criteria to coordinate the creation of Academic Calendars for English, Foundation Year and Diplomas.
Academic Operations: Facilitate the daily academic administration and organisation of communications and forums with program stakeholders, including offshore partners, for the coordination of programs.
Assessment and Examinations: Assist in activities to ensure that assessment standards are maintained, such as assessor certification, moderation processes, and result checking.
Resulting: Administer final result processes, including coordination of global marks submission, system requirements and results checking processes to ensure accuracy.
Reporting: Prepare data and reports for program delivery, results ratification subcommittee, and other governance bodies as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
Tertiary qualifications and significant administration experience.
Administrative skills with a track record of successful implementation and meeting tight deadlines.
Experience in an educational institution, showing understanding of the student lifecycle and associated measures.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated data literacy skills.
Experience with Student Management Systems and Learning Management Systems
