Student Engineer - Sustainable Transport and Open Spaces

Our Sustainable Transport and Open Spaces team is seeking a Sustainable Transport and Open Spaces student.   Purpose: Assist in the planning, design, delivery and management of Council’s sustainable transport and open space programs, including capital works and maintenance projects. Support the delivery of high-quality customer service through the preparation of correspondence, reports, designs, technical documentation and project-related administrative activities.   About the role and some of the things you will do: Provide general assistance to the Sustainable Transport and Open Spaces team. Undertake and assist in design duties and planning duties. Assist the department with investigating and actioning department customer service requests, preparing correspondence and the production of reports.  Assist in the design and planning of Randwick’s sustainable transport and green grid network     About you: Currently undertaking a tertiary degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Planning Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architecture. Experience with Adobe Suite, Autocad (or equivalent), word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
