Support Coordinator Team Leader

As Support Coordination Team Leader with Access Support Coordination, you'll lead a team of Support Coordinators — keeping them focused, supported and equipped to deliver outcomes that actually matter to the participants they work with. It's a leadership role with real influence, and when your team gets it right, you feel it in the results.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and monitoring a team of Support Coordinators to maximise participant engagement and outcomes, particularly for people with complex needs
• Ensuring your team completes safety and support planning assessments in collaboration with participants, carers, families and relevant stakeholders
• Coaching and developing your team's capacity to build participant independence and achieve positive NDIS outcomes
• Completing regular supervision, debriefing and performance reviews with direct reports — identifying strengths, managing risks and developing best practice
• Conducting regular site visits to your team's locations to stay connected and provide hands-on support
• Collaborating with the Support Coordination Manager on performance, improvement planning and team development

You're the right person if...

• You have demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role or within the NDIS
• You hold a Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services or a related discipline
• You have a strong understanding of PRODA and CareView — preferred but not essential
• You negotiate and influence with confidence and bring out the best in the people around you
• You're highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing priorities without letting things slip
• You're across Microsoft Office and web-based applications and handle confidential information with tact and discretion
• You hold a valid unrestricted Drivers Licence, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
