About the role

We are looking for a full-time Revenue Assurance Officer to join our team on a fixed-term or permanent basis.

The Revenue Assurance Officer is responsible for providing central accounts administration services while overseeing accounts and debt management activities across a designated practice or region.

In this role, you will support the efficient management of patient and third-party accounts, debt recovery processes, electronic claiming, and account-related technologies. You will play a key role within the Central Accounts Team, ensuring compliance with billing processes and revenue assurance requirements.

About you

• Extensive experience in accounts administration, debt management and billing processes.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, MBS requirements, electronic claiming and account management systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex accounts and debt recovery activities.
• Proven ability to analyse reporting and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Experience providing training, coaching and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and manage workloads effectively.
• Collaborative leadership style with a focus on service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and deliver positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within healthcare, medical administration or radiology services will be highly regarded.
