We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new, state-of-the-art bakery in Stake Hill, WA (60 km South of Perth, 12 Km from Mandurah).

Expressions of interest are now open for the following up-coming positions:

• Maintenance Electrician
• Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

The Opportunities:

Reporting to the site Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Electrician and the Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will work as a team to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all site equipment. These hands-on roles cover installation, preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown support within a highly automated environment, while minimising downtime and supporting production performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end equipment performance on the line
• Conduct preventative maintenance and end-of-week shutdown tasks
• Perform testing, calibration and predictive analysis
• Identify defects and complete corrective actions
• Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues using strong critical-thinking skills
• Comply with all site policies (GMP, HACCP, WHS, Environmental, LOTO, Confined Space, etc.)

About You:

You’re a qualified Electrician or Mechanical Fitter who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting challenges and improving equipment performance with a commitment to smooth, safe operations.

To be successful you will bring:

• Experience in FMCG/Food or pharmaceutical (highly regarded).
• Sound Electrical / Mechanical knowledge and experience. Dual qualifications will be a strong advantage.
• Basic Computer Skills: Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Experience using MEX will be highly regarded.
• Effective Communication with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work across morning and afternoon shifts and work on Saturdays
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the role.

For the Maintenance Electrician:

• Competent using Siemens (PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, etc.) products.
• Competent following electrical schematic drawings.
• Basic Refrigeration knowledge.
• General understanding of pneumatics and Hydraulic.
• Understanding of the 3 phase and Single-Phase motor fault finding and maintenance.
• ABB Robots, Allen-Bradely (PLC/HMI) and Ignition SCADA experience will be beneficial.

For the Maintenance Fitter:

• Fitting & Machining Trade Certificate or equivalent mechanical qualification
• Strong welding skills (TIG/MIG/Stick/Oxy)
• Ability to use lathe, milling, and radial drill machines
• Competence with pneumatic & hydraulic schematics
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Restricted Electrical License (advantage)
