Moreton Bay College, one of Queensland's leading independent schools, is seeking an exceptional Early Childhood Teacher (Kindergarten) to join our Early Learning team on a fixed-term full-time basis for Term 4, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded sessional Kindergarten program that provides a rich, play-based and inquiry-driven learning experience for children in the year before Prep.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Early Learning, you will deliver high-quality early childhood education within our Kindergarten (Pre-Prep) program, supporting children to become confident, capable, and curious learners. 

You will:

• Design and implement engaging learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines and IB PYP.
• Foster children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
• Support individual learning needs and contribute to early intervention strategies.
• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Build strong and positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Collaborate with educators and teacher aides to deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Contribute actively to the life of the College community. 

About You You are an enthusiastic and reflective educator who is committed to providing exceptional learning experiences for young children.

You will bring:

• A recognised Early Childhood Education qualification (ACECQA approved).
• Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility).
• Current Blue Card (or exemption).
• Current First Aid certification.
• Strong understanding of play-based and inquiry-led learning.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement. 

Highly regarded:

• Experience within the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).
• Experience working within Queensland educational settings.
