This position is responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the production process, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring adherence to food safety and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing laboratory tests, reviewing batch records, documenting results, and investigating non-conformances. The role also involves maintaining and improving quality assurance procedures, supporting audits, training production staff on quality and compliance requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.Qualifications Strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills to oversee production standards and compliance with food safety regulations.Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting test results, identifying trends, and supporting root-cause analysis.Effective Communication abilities to document findings, prepare reports, and work with production, management, and external auditors.Practical Laboratory Skills for conducting microbiological, chemical, and physical testing of raw materials and finished products.Relevant tertiary qualification in food science, microbiology, chemistry, quality management, or a related field.Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar regulated industry, with knowledge of HACCP and GMP guidelines.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.Proficiency in using quality management systems and basic computer applications for data entry and reporting.
