About the role
Do you want to have an impact on the arts? Are you passionate about making artists successful? Curatorial+Co. is an Art Gallery and Art Consultancy based in Sydney which is shaking up the arts scene. Showcasing a curated collection of original contemporary artworks from emerging and mid-career artists, the gallery breaks tradition with the white-box gallery format. Our Sydney Gallery shows regular exhibitions to foster our artists' growth and engage audiences, and our Art Consultancy service for residential, commercial, hotel and public art clients creates a lasting connection between artists and individual collectors, interior designers, architects and organisations.
We are looking for an energetic, art market-savvy and collaborative Creative Producer to join our dynamic Art Consultancy team. This position reports to the Commercial Senior Curator and is responsible for bringing to life our Art Consultancy projects from start to finish - a hybrid of curation and project management. Building relationships will come naturally to you, through connecting with artists and clients as well as collaborating with our team to create magic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Curate Art Consultancy projects – from initial proposal stage through to final curation
Project manage assigned Art Consultancy projects, including artwork commissions, fabrication + installation, ensuring all deadlines + budgets are met
Contribute to, write + develop proposals, EOIs, grants, art strategies + business opportunity outreach
Create presentation documents, including renders where required
Demonstrate strong time management skills + the ability to prioritise workloads in a deadline-driven environment
Take accountability for projects end to end + drive the highest possible quality outcomes for our clients
Have tough but clear conversations to achieve outcomes, with the ability to engage + negotiate when required
Demonstrate excellent written + verbal communication + a high level of responsiveness
Maintain accurate project files, including budgets, contracts, timelines + correspondence
Provide regular progress reports to the curatorial team, clients + project stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS + ADDITIONAL SKILLS
2+ years in the curatorial space within the fine arts, design or public art sector
Outstanding written + verbal communication skills, with a flair for relationship management
Passion for supporting artists
A creative eye + a high-end aesthetic
Knowledge of current art markets + broad knowledge of Australian artists
Ability to think outside the box, aligning with Curatorial+Co.’s brand
Extreme attention to detail with a passion for perfection
Proactive relationship and networking skills – so our clients want to work with us
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the arts, design or arts management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HubSpot, project management software + Adobe Suite

Location: 80 William St, Woolloomooloo, Sydney
Full-time employee position working in office
Remuneration will be based on the right candidate’s experience
