FULL-TIME COOK

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our team in Perth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality meals according to recipes and menu requirements.

• Prepare ingredients and ensure food is fresh and properly stored.

• Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.

• Assist with menu planning and development.

• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering food supplies.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and work area.

• Work efficiently with other kitchen staff during busy service periods.

• Assist in reducing food waste and managing kitchen stock.

• Ensure all equipment is used and maintained safely.

• Train and support junior kitchen staff when required.

About you

• Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery or equivalent experience.

• Previous experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.

• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong time management and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Availability to work full-time, including weekends and public holidays where required.
