SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – COFFS HARBOUR – PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM (JOB ID 1511)

Our client is a leading independent network of accountants, auditors and advisors with 26 partners and 220+ professionals across Queensland and Northern NSW. They provide tailored accounting, tax, audit, and consulting services to privately owned businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and ASX-listed companies across Australia and internationally. 

The Role: 

• Deliver accounting, compliance and advisory services across a diverse client base  

• Prepare and review accounts, annual returns, BAS, trusts and companies  

• Conduct taxation work, including researching and concluding tax issues, preparing and checking individual, company, trust and partnership returns  

• Managing FBT processes  

• Monitor client management reports to identify opportunities for business improvement  

• Maintain and produce financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon  

• Support junior staff through mentoring and guidance  

About You: 

• Minimum 4 years’ professional services experience in a mid-tier accounting firm  

• CA/CPA-qualified or actively working towards certification  

• Proficient in Xero, MYOB and Reckon  

• Strong technical skills across accounting, compliance and advisory  

• Excellent communication, client service and relationship-building skills  

• Can-do attitude with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines  

• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
