Parts Sales

About the role

To assist the Parts team with the daily operations of the Parts Department, to ensure effective and efficient sales, promotion, and distribution of the company's products. To ensure prompt and efficient service to all customers, including back counter workshop sales. To maintain an efficient parts warehouse with team support and ensure parts are received, accounted for, and placed in correct location. To have a sound knowledge of Dealer Management System and all its functions.

Key responsibilities

• Keep fully abreast of changes in products, technology, and manufacturers expectations
• Receive incoming parts and dispatch as required
• Interpret customer and dealer requirements
• Ensure Parts Department is open and ready for business by designated time, and closed and secured following designated closing time
• Enter orders as received via phone or email
• Sell and pick orders as required for over-the-counter sales to customers
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the location of all parts and accessories in the parts warehouse
• Receive goods and ensure they have arrived in sound condition and in correct quantities
• Store goods in an approved manner to minimize the possibility of damage, loss or deterioration
• Complete necessary documentation in relation to processing of orders as required by Company policies and procedures

• Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Computer literate
• Customer service orientated
• Excellent telephone manner
• Efficiency and Accuracy of Paperwork (i.e. orders, forms, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Clean and valid driver's license
• Ability to work autonomously with professionalism and trust
