Delicious Dairies Pty Ltd As our wholesale operations continue to grow across New South Wales, we require a capable and organised Supply and Distribution Manager to take full ownership of our supply chain and distribution function.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Prestons facility, working directly with the business owners and operations team to ensure product moves efficiently from supplier to customer on time, in full, and to the standard our clients expect. The role demands a hands-on manager who is comfortable working in a perishable goods environment, where timing, accuracy and supplier relationships are critical to the success of the business. Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Stable, permanent full-time position in a growing wholesale food business Direct involvement in business operations with genuine decision-making responsibility Supportive family-business environment with opportunities for long-term career growth Standard full-time hours, Monday to Friday Task & responsibilities Coordinating the procurement of dairy products and fresh produce from approved suppliers, including monitoring delivery schedules and following up on outstanding orders Managing stock levels across the facility to ensure adequate supply is always maintained, minimising wastage and shortages in a perishable goods environment Planning and scheduling outbound deliveries to wholesale customers, allocating routes and resources to meet customer requirements and agreed delivery timeframes Supervising warehouse and distribution staff on a day-to-day basis, including directing workload allocation, monitoring performance, and ensuring safe and efficient operations Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and transport providers, negotiating terms and resolving issues as they arise Maintaining accurate records of stock movements, inbound supply and outbound deliveries, and preparing regular reports for management on inventory levels and distribution performance Identifying and addressing bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the supply and distribution process, recommending improvements to support business growth Ensuring all warehousing, storage and distribution activities comply with relevant food safety standards and business requirements Qualification & experience Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in supply chain management, distribution management, logistics, or a closely related role Tertiary qualification in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience) Demonstrated experience supervising and directing a team in a warehouse or distribution environment Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting Sound understanding of inventory management principles and stock control in a perishable or food distribution context Effective communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers, transport providers and internal stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business software
