Senior Hydrogeologist

Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure, mining, and energy sectors.

Our Perth office is looking to hire a Hydrogeologist with between 4 – 10 years experience, ideally in managing and executing hydrogeological and water-related projects. Specifically, our team is seeking someone who can efficiently balance project scope, timeframes, resources, and client expectations while maintaining high standards in technical execution, quality, safety, and budget management.

What You'll Need:

• Science or Applied Science degree with hydrogeology/geology majors; other equivalent and relevant discipline such as Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering, with associated experience, training or qualification in hydrogeology
• Considerable experience working within a consultancy environment

• Experience in providing specialist hydrogeological advice across a variety of sectors

• Experience in managing hydrogeological and water related projects

• Experience in conducting and supervising field works, and managing project personnel
• Experience in groundwater and surface water sampling and monitoring
• Experience in conducting and analysing aquifer tests
• Experience in groundwater modelling (desirable) or a keen desire to acquire these skills
• Demonstrated experience in writing technical reports to a high standard
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
