Affinity Diamonds is an Australian owned, family-run diamond and jewellery business with over 30 years' experience. At Affinity Diamonds we don't sell, we teach. We empower our clients with all the tools they need to choose the most beautiful diamond possible.

Located in the heart of Sydney's CBD, the Affinity Diamonds team are a group of highly skilled master jewellers, setters and diamond merchants who work with their clients to understand, design and create their own bespoke piece. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with an intimate and personalised service built on trust and knowledge.

About the Role 

As our Fine Jewellery Sales Consultant, you will be required to:

• Consult one on one with clients.

• Educate clients on the different characteristics of diamonds and precious gemstones including the 4 C's.

• Assist clients with designing their bespoke jewellery items.

• Provide sales support to the Senior Diamond Merchant.

• Provide an exceptional experience for all clients.

• Manage the overall customer experience process from the initial consultation through to the post-purchase customer follow up. 

• Manage client communication throughout their Affinity journey. 

• Build strong repeat business.

• May be required to assist with sourcing diamonds and precious gemstones.

• Work to individual KPIs and budgets.

• Willing to work weekends. 
   

Skills, personality traits and experience

• Immaculate personal presentation and communication skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Knowledge of diamonds and gemstones is highly regarded, though not essential.

• Familiarity with the 4Cs of diamond quality is advantageous but not required.

• Must have an outgoing personality with a proactive attitude towards the business.

• Organised nature with a willingness to learn.

• Honest and trustworthy.

• A high level of initiative and tenacity in addition to sales drive.

• Be willing to assist different departments when required.

• A proven track record of retail sales experience within premium jewellery or high-end luxury goods is preferred.
