Yard hand / Junior Technician / Delivery Driver

Seeking a young, hands-on technician and yard hand (with the occasional delivery driving) who is reliable, friendly and capable of practising commonsense. The work will guarantee 40hrs a week plus some overtime if preferred. The rate will be $20 to $30 / hour (inclusive of casual loading and superannuation), or permanent salary position if preferred. A vehicle and uniform will be provided during work hours.

The core role is the checking/repairing/routine maintenance/cleaning of hire equipment, with occasional delivery of equipment using a 1 tonne utility around greater Brisbane. We have a great array of machines from landscaping, earth moving, scaffolding, cherry pickers, scissor lifts, trailers, generators so your job will be interesting and varied.

Some knowledge in the safe practice of tools and equipment and a general willingness to learn mechanical skills is a must. Basic computer skills are essential. Training will be provided.
