Customer Services Officer

About the role

Join the Smoke Alarms Australia team as a Customer Services Officer for our local customer service team based in Chatswood. You will be responsible for working with our customers to deliver an outstanding service.

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of the Agency Services team to achieve individual KPI's & customer SLAs as assigned

• Manage inbound and outbound telephonic and SMS communications efficiently and effectively for tenant enquiries including callbacks for the local team

• Work in internal systems for inbound helpdesk and other written communication so that all enquiries are actioned within the desired timeframes

• Create work orders into the database system

• Investigation and resolution of customer queries

• Multitask with high attention to detail, ensuring that all outstanding tasks are completed within Smoke Alarms Australia's procedures

• Build rapport with Real Estate Agents, Property Managers, Landlords and Smoke Alarms Australia Technicians

• Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction

• Work to a high standard and be hands on

• High level of verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and does not cut corners

• Excellent customer service experience – always seeking to delight

• Proactive and 'can-do' attitude

• Excellent time management skills

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong computer knowledge

• Punctuality essential

• Polite and clear phone manner

• Moderate level of negotiation skills
