Prison Mental Health Clinician (Maryborough)

Your opportunity:

• To provide clinical and case management support & Intake Assessment to individuals experiencing symptoms of or at risk of developing symptoms of a major mental illness, within the Maryborough Correctional Centre.
• Liaison with all relevant clinical and non- clinical stakeholders within the correctional environment as well as non- clinical support workers in the community, coordinating care while taking a holistic approach to recovery and wellbeing with a focus on the transition phase leading to and including release from custody.

Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until May 2027 with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive salary between $4,390 - $4,700 p.f. (Nurse Grade 6 (1)), or competitive salary between $3,067 - $4,453 p.f. (HP3), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment until May 2027 with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
