Mend'em Towing is a family-owned and operated business with over 25 years of experience providing professional towing services throughout Melbourne's western suburbs.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for experienced Tilt Tray Tow Truck Operators to join our friendly and professional team.

About the Role

As a Tow Truck Driver / Tilt Tray Operator, you'll be responsible for safely recovering and transporting vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. Our work includes:

• Accident towing
• Police impounds and recoveries
• Salvage and auction transport
• Breakdown assistance
• General vehicle transport

This role operates on a rotating roster, including some evenings, weekends, and on-call work.

We are offering both full time and part time roles. The part-time position is ideal for someone looking for flexible work, extra income, or an experienced operator seeking a semi-retired role while remaining active in the industry.

About You

We're looking for an experienced, reliable and safety-focused Tilt Tray Operator who takes pride in their work and delivers excellent customer service. You'll be confident working independently, communicate professionally with customers and dispatch, and enjoy the variety that comes with accident recovery, breakdowns and vehicle transport. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine passion for the towing industry are essential.

To be considered for this role, you'll also need to meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating a tilt tray tow truck
• Current MR Licence (minimum requirement)
• Able to store the tow truck securely at your residence while on call
• Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain one)
• Able to successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
• Reside in one of the following areas:
  - Werribee
  - Wyndham Vale
  - Tarneit
  - Hoppers Crossing
  - Truganina
  - Point Cook
  - Altona Meadows
