Senior Visual Merchandiser

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Visual Merchandiser to elevate the visual presentation and customer experience across our growing retail network.

Initially, you will support approximately 10+ UGG multi-brand stores across Sydney, as well as the broader UGG store network throughout NSW. You will take ownership of visual standards, seasonal execution, store presentation and team capability across different store formats.

Working closely with Retail Operations, Marketing, Product and Merchandise teams, you will translate business priorities, campaigns and product stories into practical, engaging and commercially effective in-store experiences.

As the retail network continues to grow, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to interstate projects, national visual merchandising standards and broader retail experience leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead visual merchandising planning and execution across NSW stores, ensuring a consistent, premium and commercially effective presentation.
• Plan and implement seasonal campaigns, product launches, promotional activities and key retail trading moments.
• Create strong product and brand presentations across windows, entrances, feature areas, wall displays and other key customer touchpoints.
• Conduct regular store visits and visual audits, providing practical feedback and hands-on support to improve execution.
• Develop scalable VM guidelines, seasonal toolkits, checklists and standards suitable for different store sizes and formats.
• Use sales performance, stock levels and customer behaviour to optimise product placement, space allocation and store presentation.
• Train and coach Store Managers, Area Managers and retail teams to maintain visual standards and strengthen in-store capability.
• Support new store openings, refurbishments, pop-ups, shop-in-shop installations and other retail experience projects as required.

About You

You combine strong creative judgement with a practical understanding of retail operations and commercial performance. You can establish clear visual direction while remaining comfortable working hands-on in stores to ensure it is properly executed.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• At least five years’ visual merchandising experience within fashion, footwear, lifestyle, beauty, department store or another relevant retail environment.
• Experience supporting multiple stores or a regional retail network.
• Professional presentation and confident communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following brand guidelines.
• A flexible, reliable and hands-on approach to campaign work.Competence in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite or visual planning software is desirable.
• A current Australian driver’s licence and the ability to travel regularly.
