At WaterNSW we are custodians of the state's water, a vital natural resource.  It is our responsibility to capture, store and deliver water, when and where it matters. 

We operate the state's dams like Warragamba Dam in Greater Sydney and Burrendong Dam in regional NSW, using our knowledge of nature, science and engineering. We then supply that water ready for distribution - for the environment, agriculture, industry and the community. 

With 41 major dams and hundreds of waterways across the state, we play a vital role at the source of the state's water, delivering two thirds of all water used in NSW.  The water we supply supports more than 8 million people across NSW - it is used by regional towns, farmers, the environment and customers, like Sydney Water.

Lead a high-performing Business Services function that delivers value across procurement, property, fleet, logistics and corporate services. Partner with leaders across WaterNSW to provide strategic advice, enable informed commercial decision-making, and foster a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

• Provide strategic leadership across Business Services, supporting organisational priorities and building a high-performing, inclusive culture.
• Lead enterprise-wide procurement and supplier management strategies that deliver value, manage risk and support business outcomes.
• Oversee WaterNSW's property portfolio, ensuring assets, facilities and commercial arrangements support operational needs and long-term goals.
• Ensure the effective delivery of corporate business services, including logistics, security, purchasing support and workplace resources.
• Lead the planning and delivery of property, fleet and business service programs, focusing on continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence.

What we are looking for:

• Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain, business, finance, logistics or a related field, with equivalent experience considered.
• Extensive leadership experience in business services, procurement, property, facilities, fleet or related corporate functions within a complex organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies that deliver operational efficiency, commercial value and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience partnering with senior leaders to align business services with organisational priorities.
• Experience managing large-scale procurement, supplier, property and asset management programs, ensuring effective governance, compliance and risk management.
• Proven capability in leading diverse teams and service delivery functions, fostering a collaborative, customer-focused and high-performing culture.
