Senior Aluminium Window & Door Fabricator

Location: West Gosford, NSW

Are you an experienced aluminium window and door fabricator looking for a stable, long-term role with the opportunity to take on more responsibility?

Majestic Aluminium Windows & Doors is a well-established aluminium window and door manufacturer based in West Gosford. We manufacture custom residential windows and doors from start to finish, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, service and attention to detail.

We’re looking for an experienced fabricator who can bring knowledge and capability to our team, particularly with bi-fold doors, hinged doors and more technical products.

For the right person, there is also a genuine opportunity to progress into a senior leadership / Factory 2IC role over time.

• $30–$40 per hour + super, depending on experience and capability

• Permanent full-time position

• Monthly RDO

• Early Friday finish

• Stable Monday–Friday working hours

• No production-line environment – our fabricators are involved in manufacturing products from start to finish

Depending on your experience and strengths, your role will include:

• Fabricating aluminium windows and doors from start to finish

• Acting as a backup fabricator for hinged doors, bi-fold doors and other high-end / technical products

• Providing technical knowledge and troubleshooting support for hinged doors, bi-folds and more complex products

• Preparing aluminium extrusions and components ready for assembly

• Accurately using saws, copy routers and other fabrication equipment

• Reading job paperwork, measurements and specifications accurately

• Identifying and resolving fabrication issues

• Maintaining a high standard of quality and workmanship

• Supporting less-experienced team members when required

• Helping keep production organised and jobs moving through the factory efficiently

As you become familiar with our products, systems and team, there is an opportunity to take on greater responsibility for production preparation, workflow, technical problem-solving, supporting other team members and other areas of factory operations.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has solid experience manufacturing aluminium windows and doors

• Has strong knowledge and hands-on experience fabricating hinged doors and bi-fold doors

• Is confident working on more complex and technical aluminium window and door products

• Takes pride in producing quality work

• Can work independently without needing constant supervision

• Is accurate, organised and reliable

• Is confident troubleshooting fabrication problems

• Works well as part of a small team

• Is willing to share their knowledge and help less-experienced staff

• Has the initiative to see what needs doing and get on with it

• Is interested in taking on greater responsibility as they develop within the business

Previous leadership experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential. We're equally interested in an experienced fabricator who has the right attitude, technical knowledge and potential to grow into a leadership role.

• Previous aluminium window and door fabrication experience

• Hands-on bi-fold and hinged door fabrication experience is essential

• Ability to accurately read measurements and job specifications

• Experience using relevant aluminium fabrication machinery and equipment

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport

• Physically capable of performing the requirements of the role

• Australian working rights
