The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join SMS Mining Services as we expand our capabilities into open pit mining and gold contracting services. Our client is based in the Goldfields, near Mount Magnet, and we are seeking dedicated and qualified personnel to join the team in full-time positions. With a strong resource base and an ongoing mining program, these roles offer the potential for long-term employment and continued opportunities as operations progress.
  
We are seeking experienced Ancillary Operators to join our Mining team on a new Goldfields project. In this role, you will operate a range of heavy mobile equipment, including track dozers, graders, water carts and loaders, to support safe and efficient mining operations. You’ll play a key role in supporting production activities, including the movement of ore and waste materials within the open-cut pit.

What We’re Looking For

• National Police Clearance (within 12 months validity)
• Unlimited Australian working rights
• Valid C class driver’s licence – HR class advantageous
• Gold mining experience (highly regarded)
• A strong commitment to safety and reliability
