Aya Care Support Services
About the role
Aya Care Support Services is looking for a reliable and experienced Support Worker to join our team and provide ongoing support to a teenage boy with Cerebral Palsy in Pakenham.
He is non-verbal and requires support with personal care, daily activities and accessing the community. He also displays Behaviours of Concern (BOCs), so we are looking for someone who is calm, patient, confident and able to build a consistent and trusting relationship with him.
Hours
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 2:30pm–6:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am–1:00pm
These are regular ongoing shifts, so please only apply if you can reliably commit to the advertised hours.
The Role
What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you will have previous experience supporting children or teenagers with disability, complex needs and/or Behaviours of Concern.
You will be someone who is:
Applicants must hold the relevant checks and requirements for disability support work, including NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, Police Check, First Aid & CPR, as well as a current driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive insurance.
