The Orthopaedics and Trauma Unit at Liverpool Hospital delivers specialised, high‑acuity care for complex musculoskeletal injuries, combining advanced surgical practice with a strong multidisciplinary focus to support optimal patient recovery.

You will bring with you various skills and experience to the role including:
Professional approach to nursing practise Maintain CPD and be engaged with educational opportunities Willingness to engage/communicate/actively listen with consumers/ carers and members of the MDT. Maintain positive work culture and ethics. Be a team player and engage in the team nursing model of care structure required for orthopaedic/ trauma nursing.

Do you have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)?Provide an example of an orthopaedic or trauma related clinical emergency and describe the escalation pathways?Describe how you would de-escalate and manage patient aggression?Patient risk assessments are important for maintaining patient safety. Describe what you think are the highest risks for orthopaedic/ trauma patients and how you could mitigate those risks as a clinician?
