We are currently seeking a junior/trade assistant to join our small family business in Southport. No experience necessary!
About the Role
Cleaning and tidying workshop floor and machinery
Prepping finalised jobs for painting/galvanising/powder coating using hand and power tools
Re-stocking steel lengths onto shelving
Assisting tradespeople with workshop and onsite jobs
Manual handling of job components on workshop floor
About You
High attention to detail
Ability to manual handle componentry and steel materials
Minimum age requirement of 16 years for this role
Full Australian work rights
Ability to work efficiently and independently
Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
About Us
Small family run business, operating on the Gold Coast since 1972
We specialise in steel, aluminium and stainless steel fabrication
General fabrication and small one-off jobs
Looking for a long term employee to fit in with our current team
Could lead to apprenticeship for the right candidate
We are locally situated in Southport.
Immediate start with on site parking available
This is a full time position.
