The Community Development Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating initiatives that strengthen our community, increase social participation and improve community wellbeing across the Singleton LGA.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with residents, community organisations, government agencies and service providers to identify local priorities, build strong partnerships and deliver initiatives that foster inclusion, participation and community resilience. You will lead the planning, delivery and ongoing review of Council's key community strategies and action plans, including the Community Development Strategy, Disability Inclusion Action Plan, Reconciliation Action Plan and other initiatives that support positive and sustainable outcomes for the Singleton community.
As a key advocate for the community, you will build positive relationships across a broad range of stakeholders and ensure community insights and feedback contribute to informed planning, service delivery and decision-making.
