Handyman / Renovation Labourer (Contract)

We are seeking a reliable, fit, and enthusiastic Handyman / Renovation Labourer to join our team on a major boarding house renovation project in North Sydney.

This is a full-time contract role with a minimum 9-month engagement, working alongside an experienced carpenter and renovation team. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work efficiently in a team environment

About the Role

You will assist with a variety of renovation and fit-out tasks, including:

• Light demolition works

• Basic plumbing fit-off works (connecting sinks, taps, fixtures, etc.)

• Interior painting and touch-up work

• Furniture assembly and installation

• General handyman duties

• Site clean-up and maintaining a safe work environment

• Assisting the carpenter with various renovation activities

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Be physically fit and capable of manual work

• Have previous handyman, maintenance, renovation, carpentry, or construction experience

• Be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Be comfortable working as part of a small team

• Have good attention to detail and take pride in their work

• Hold a valid White Card (preferred)

• Have their own ABN and ability to invoice for services

We are currently undertaking a major renovation project at the property and are looking for a reliable, fit and enthusiastic Handyman / Renovation Labourer to join our team. The role offers full-time, consistent work for a minimum of 9 months, working alongside an experienced carpenter and renovation team, with a focus on quality workmanship, teamwork and maintaining a safe work environment.
