· Undertake planning research, policy reviews and background investigations.
· Support project teams with data collection, analysis and project administration.
· Assist with client and stakeholder correspondence.
· Contribute to project deliverables under the guidance of experienced planners.
· Participate in team meetings, project discussions and learning opportunities.
· Provide general support to the Brisbane Planning team across a variety of projects.
Skills & Experience
· Currently studying a bachelor’s degree in Town Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or a related discipline. Preference will be given to third- and fourth-year students, however, applications from all year levels will be considered.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Sound organisational and time-management abilities.
· The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
· Initiative and a genuine willingness to learn.
· Strong attention to detail.
· The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with planning or GIS software will be viewed favourably.
What We’re Looking For
You are curious, proactive and eager to develop your planning career. You enjoy working with others, ask thoughtful questions and actively seek feedback. Most importantly, you are keen to apply what you are learning at university while contributing to meaningful, real-world projects.
Why Join Spiire?
· Gain practical industry experience while completing your studies.
· Work alongside experienced planners and multidisciplinary professionals.
· Contribute to a diverse range of projects for a variety of clients.
· Enjoy a flexible casual arrangement designed to support your study commitments.
· Develop your skills within a collaborative and supportive team culture.
· Build valuable professional connections and establish a strong foundation for your planning career.
