Are you an experienced Lead Educator who understands that leadership is about more than holding a title?

Kin Early Learning Centres is looking for a confident and capable Lead Educator who is passionate about guiding a team, strengthening practice and creating an environment where children and educators can thrive.

We are seeking someone who leads by example, communicates clearly and understands the importance of building a positive, accountable and collaborative team culture. You will support educators to grow in confidence, contribute meaningfully to the program and maintain consistent, high-quality practices throughout the day.

About the role

As a Lead Educator at Kin, you will:

• Lead and guide a team of educators with confidence, warmth and professionalism

• Create a positive room culture where every educator understands their role and responsibilities

• Mentor educators and provide clear, constructive feedback

• Support the planning, implementation and reflection of engaging learning experiences

• Ensure children’s voices, interests and individual needs are reflected in the program

• Build strong and respectful relationships with children and families

• Maintain high standards of supervision, safety, documentation and compliance

• Work collaboratively with our Educational Leaders and leadership team

• Address challenges directly and respectfully, seeking support when required

• Lead consistent daily routines and ensure expectations are understood and followed

About you

You will be someone who:

• Holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Education/Teaching

• Has demonstrated experience leading a room and guiding a team

• Has a strong understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Standard and relevant regulations

• Understands that effective leadership involves coaching, communication, accountability and follow-through

• Is organised, reliable and confident in making decisions

• Can recognise the strengths of individual educators and support their professional growth

• Is reflective and open to feedback and continued learning

• Is passionate about creating meaningful learning opportunities for children

• Values teamwork and contributes positively across the whole service
