Operations Manager

Australian Grain Export are seeking an experienced Operations Manager, or experienced operations team member looking to take the next step in their career. 

The Operations Manager will be the primary point of contact for our site and will own the planning and administrative functions.

This is an on-site role based at Dublin, South Australia.

Standard working hours are 7am - 3:15pm

Immediate start.

Duties:

·                Primary contact for growers, transport providers 

·                Planning and Logistics in conjunction with AGE Trading and internal stakeholders

·                Rostering of operations team members and liaising with other departments

·                Inventory management and reconciliation to effectively manage stocks

·                SOH reporting

·                Contribution to problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives

·                Contribute to site recruitment, staff training and cross-training  

·                Operations administration and payroll

·                Data capturing 

About You:

·                Experience in Operations in a grain facility or similar industry

·                People management experience is essential

·                Clear and effective communicator

·                Planning experience and the ability to manage inbound and outbound volumes

·                Ability to problem solve in a dynamic environment 

·                Reliable and hard working

·                Team player

·                Safety conscious

·                Willingness to undertake additional training and accreditation, including:

• Authorised Officer training

• GTA Sampling

• OHS&W

• Fumigation
