Concrete Coatings Applicator

About the role

CoatPro applies premium concrete sealing, spraycrete resurfacing and epoxy coatings across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. We're hiring an experienced coatings applicator to deliver high-standard finishes on driveways, pool surrounds, patios, warehouses, and commercial floors.

Key responsibilities

• Surface prep: pressure washing, grinding, acid washing, crack repair
• Mixing and applying clear sealers, tinted topical sealers, spraycrete and epoxy systems
• Running spray equipment, grinders and pressure washers safely
• Setting sites up and packing them down clean
• Working alongside the lead applicator to deliver finishes to company standard

About you

• Hands-on experience with concrete coatings, sealers or epoxies
• Reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• An eye for detail: straight edges, even coverage, tidy site
• On time, easy to communicate with
• Fit enough for hands-on outdoor work in Queensland weather
• Airless or HVLP spray equipment experience (handy, not essential)
• Decorative concrete, flooring or rendering background (preferred)
• Confined space, working at heights or EWP tickets (preferred)

Benefits

• $70,000–$85,000 + super on the published ladder, paid weekly
• Published pay ladder: Trainee $60K–$70K, Applicator $70K–$85K, Senior Applicator $85K–$100K, Crew Leader $100K–$120K
• Paid, structured training through CoatPro Academy: spraycrete, epoxy, grinding, densification, job costing, customer handling, running a crew
• After 24 months, we fund an agreed qualification or ticket: trade quals, WHS, EWP, manufacturer certifications, leadership training
• $750–$1,500 yearly for boots, workwear, tools and PPE
• $1,000 referral bonus when someone you refer passes six months on the team
• Team experience rewards when company annual targets are hit: fishing charter, K'gari, snow trip, track day
• Consistent, organised schedules, typically 4–5 days a week
• Quality materials and gear that gets maintained
• Opportunity to run jobs, handle customers, train new starters, and build a crew
