Quest on Wickham Terrace is a brand-new 95-key apartment hotel property located at 375 Wickham Terrace in Spring Hill, Brisbane. Positioned directly opposite Roma Street Parkland and elevated above the future Wickham Private Hospital, the property features a premium mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom twin-key apartments tailored to corporate, medical, and extended-stay travellers. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly driven Rooms Division Manager to join our pre-opening and operational team on a full-time basis (38 hours per week).

The Role

Reporting directly to the Franchisee / Property Manager, this key operational leadership role is aligned with our business plan to manage and integrate both Front Office and Housekeeping departments. Your leadership ensures that across all guest touchpoints, “We make corporate stays effortless.”

Key operational and managerial responsibilities include:

• Dual Departmental Leadership: Lead, mentor, and roster the Front Desk and Housekeeping teams, driving high levels of team engagement, productivity, retention, and service delivery in strict alignment with Quest brand standards.
• Effortless Guest Experience: Champion the guest journey from pre-arrival to post-stay, driving digital pre-check-in initiatives, wireless tablet arrivals for VIP and medical guests, and proactive Three-Day communications.
• Systems & Operational Integrity: Maintain rigorous standards across RMS (Cloud PMS), including reservations accuracy, guest profiles, rate configurations, and PCI-compliant payment gateway protocols.
• Housekeeping & Asset Presentation: Oversee apartment turnaround cleanliness, linen controls, daily room release efficiency, asset care, and routine maintenance logging in coordination with property maintenance.
• Reputation & Loyalty Management: Monitor Sentiment Analysis and guest feedback via ReviewPro to uphold top-tier network Global Review Index (GRI) benchmarks, while driving Quest Advantage loyalty registrations.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace health and safety compliance, emergency evacuation procedures, and operational alignment with Quest Corporate Office directives.

The Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrated operational management experience across front office and housekeeping departments in a premium hotel or serviced apartment environment (prior experience as Front Office Manager, Executive Housekeeper, or Rooms Division Manager essential).
• Extensive hands-on proficiency with hotel PMS platforms, with RMS experience highly regarded.
• Strong commercial acumen with a practical understanding of room yield, labour cost controls, and room turnaround productivity metrics.
• Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills, reflecting a warm, down-to-earth, and solutions-focused leadership style.
• High standards of personal presentation, meticulous attention to detail, and a structured approach to quality assurance.
• Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management or a Business discipline are highly regarded.
• Full flexibility to work a rotating roster across seven days, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as operational needs require.
• Valid entitlements to work full-time in Australia are required.
