Quality Auditor

Ventia is seeking a Quality Auditor to support quality and compliance outcomes across our NBN Connections contract in Northern Queensland. Working autonomously within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll conduct audits, provide technical guidance and drive continuous improvement across the network. Candidates based in Townsville, Cairns, Rockhampton and surrounding regions are encouraged to apply, with regular regional travel required.

About the role

As a Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing telecommunications works and supporting quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with NBN standards while driving continuous improvement across the network.

Additionally, you’ll:

• Conduct desktop, field, live and joint NBN audits to ensure telecommunications works meet quality, compliance and performance standards.
• Assess completed and in-progress installations against NBN specifications, procedures and quality requirements.
• Coach, mentor and provide technical guidance to technicians and subcontractors, including conducting VOC assessments where required.
• Identify quality trends, recurring defects and improvement opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare audit reports, analyse findings and provide recommendations to stakeholders to improve quality outcomes.
• Maintain accurate quality records, reporting documentation and compliance data across relevant systems.

Are you our next Quality Auditor?

• Previous experience in quality assurance or auditing
• Understanding of cabling standards and installation practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Knowledge of NBN standards and telecommunications industry experience highly regarded
