Cedar West is a leading Australian manufacturer of premium custom timber windows and doors. From our modern production facility in Walliston, WA, we manufacture high-quality architectural joinery for builders, architects and homeowners across Australia.

We combine traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing technology, including advanced CNC machinery, to produce custom windows and doors where quality and attention to detail matter.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Timber Fabricator / Joiner to join our production team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on factory-based role manufacturing custom timber windows and doors. You'll work from detailed production drawings, using prepared timber components, machinery and hand tools to manufacture and assemble premium architectural joinery.

No two projects are exactly the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys varied work, quality craftsmanship and seeing a finished product come together.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading and working from production drawings and specifications

• Manufacturing and assembling timber window and door components

• Using machinery and hand tools safely and accurately

• Checking dimensions, finishes and overall product quality

• Managing your workload to meet production schedules

• Following Cedar West's quality control and safety processes

• Working closely with the wider production team to keep jobs moving efficiently

About You

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working as part of a productive team.

Ideally, you'll have:

• At least 6 months' experience working with timber

• Previous experience in a factory, joinery, cabinetmaking, carpentry or manufacturing environment

• Experience using basic woodworking machinery and hand tools

• Good machining and craftsmanship skills

• The ability to read and follow drawings and instructions

• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality

• A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude

• The physical capability to safely handle timber components and finished doors

• Australian working rights

Experience manufacturing timber windows and doors would be highly regarded, but isn't essential if you have strong timber skills and are keen to learn.
