HomeRepair is seeking experienced building professionals to join our growing National Desktop Assessing team.

If you're a Builder, Carpenter, Site Supervisor, Foreman or Estimator looking for a flexible role where you can leverage your technical expertise while working remotely, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role
  
As a Desktop Assessor, you'll:

• Assess residential property damage and repair scopes
• Review builder quotations and repair costs
• Conduct virtual customer assessments
• Interpret technical and specialist reports
• Work closely with trades, field assessors and case managers
• Deliver high-quality customer outcomes across insurance repairs

What You'll Bring Essential

• Trade qualification in the building industry
• Experience supervising residential repairs or building projects
• Strong understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC)
• Ability to assess repair scopes and costs
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly Regarded

• Insurance experience
• Weather event or catastrophe repair experience
• Policy interpretation experience
• Project Management qualifications
• Strong reporting or data analysis capability
