IT Service Desk Officer

We’re currently seeking an IT Service Desk Officer to join our supportive National Service Desk team based in our office at Springwood, QLD.

About the Role:

As the first point of contact for IT support, you’ll play a vital role in helping our teams stay productive and confident in their tech tools. You’ll provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure every request is handled with care and professionalism.

You’ll also support the setup, deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of end-user devices, including laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and modern endpoint management tools.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Providing responsive support via phone and email
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
• Managing user accounts, access permissions, and password resets
• Logging and tracking service requests accurately
• Escalating complex issues when needed
• Creating clear documentation and helpful knowledge base articles
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices

About You:

You’re someone who brings both technical know-how and a people-first mindset. You understand that behind every support request is a colleague who needs your help - and you respond with empathy, patience, and a calm, solutions-focused approach.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• At least 2 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support role
• A qualification in an ICT-related field
• Strong skills in Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, and cloud environments
• A current Driver’s Licence (you’ll have access to a pool car for site visits)
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
