An opportunity has presented itself for a safety-focused Maintainer to join our team based at our Perth Freight Terminal in Kewdale.

What You’ll Do

• Perform wagon preventative maintenance, repairs and inspections
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency recoveries on the rail network
• Carry out heating, cutting and welding activities
• Operate mobile plant, lifting equipment and vehicles
• Fabricate and assemble components for repair or modification
• Liaise with planners, contractors and operators to coordinate wagon movements
• Support locomotive provisioning activities

What You’ll Bring

• Heavy industry trade background (highly regarded but not essential)
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)
• Forklift/MR Licence (advantageous)
• Basic computer skills
• Full training provided – bring a positive attitude, we’ll teach the rest.
