Sales Technician

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Sales Technician to join our Brisbane-based metal fabrication business.

This opportunity is suited to either:

• An experienced Sales Technician within manufacturing or fabrication, or

• A trade-qualified Sheet Metal Worker or Boilermaker/Fabricator looking to transition into a long-term technical sales career.

If you understand fabrication, can communicate well with customers, and enjoy problem-solving, we’d like to hear from you.

• Assisting customers with fabrication and manufacturing solutions

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical requirements

• Preparing quotations and managing customer enquiries

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Coordinating with production, and workshop teams

• Supporting business growth through strong customer service and technical knowledge

✔ Experienced in technical sales within manufacturing or fabrication industries

OR

✔ Trade qualified in Sheet Metal or Boilermaking/Fabrication and looking to move into a customer-focused role

• Strong understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Good communication and relationship-building skills

• Professional and reliable attitude

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

• A willingness to learn and grow within the role
