Kareena Private Hospital caters for a full range of specialties including cardiology, orthopaedics, general surgery, colorectal surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, geriatric medicine, rehabilitation, gastroenterology, plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, respiratory medicine and vascular surgery. Radiology and pathology services are also available on site.

Our hospital has been serving the Sutherland community and surrounds for over 50 years and has provided caring support and quality clinical care for patients and their families across generations.

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Registered Nurse to be an integral member of our Perioperative team specialising in Recovery & Anaesthetics. There are multiple casual opportunities available.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating care delivery needs to effectively manage rapidly changing situations and ensure high-quality patient care. You will be required to work as a supportive team member to contribute to clinical and unit-based decision making. 

About You
You will be a trained nurse with strong customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse 
• Minimum 12 months' Recovery/Anaesthetics experience
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• You will have a strong passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values
