Hairdresser

Located in Melbourne VIC 3000, CRAOI PTY LTD, trading as The Blow Australia, is a professional hair salon specialising in blow dries, hair styling and personalised hair services. The business is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Hairdresser to become part of its growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consulting with clients to understand their hair care and styling requirements and recommend suitable services.
• Washing, drying and professionally styling hair according to individual client needs and salon standards.
• Creating a variety of professional hairstyles, including blow-dry styles, waves, curls, straight styles and up-styles.
• Providing professional hair styling and finishing services in accordance with client requirements and salon standards.
• Advising clients on hair care, styling techniques and suitable hair products.
• Delivering high-quality customer service and building strong, ongoing relationships with clients.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the salon and work areas.
• Managing appointments and ensuring services are delivered efficiently and within appropriate timeframes.
• Keeping up to date with current hair styling trends, techniques, tools and professional products.
• Assisting with stock control, product displays and general day-to-day salon operations.

About You:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Hairdresser or Hair Stylist.
• Relevant hairdressing qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong technical skills in blow drying, hair styling, finishing and up-styling.
• Good knowledge of professional hair care products, styling tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy professional salon environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Professional presentation and a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: AUD $70,000 – $90,000 per annum
