HV Wind Turbine Electrical Technician

FairWind are looking for an experienced wind turbine HV electrical service technician to work with our collaborative team near Ballarat.

This will be a full time ongoing role working Monday to Friday with overtime where applicable.

As the successful candidate you will join an established team of turbine technicians to work on scheduled servicing, faults and general maintenance. The team itself is very experienced and collaborative, making the environment especially enjoyable to work in.

This is a great role where can focus on ensuring the turbines are working efficiently and also gives you the opportunity to trace faults and provide solutions.

Due to the complex nature of the role you must have previous experience as a wind turbine service technician to be selected for an interview.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team to service and maintain nacelles

• Fault finding

• Installing and testing cabling and switches

• Ensuring safe and correct integration with site substation

• Read and interpret drawings and schematics

• HV Switching

Qualifications

• GWO training is essential - BST & ART

• Victorian unrestricted A Grade Electrical Licence

• HV Switching

• All other training or refreshes can be provided where required
