Supermarket /Bottle Shop Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, reliable and motivated Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our busy Bottle Shop / Supermarket. This is a full-time position suited to someone with strong retail experience, excellent customer service skills and the ability to confidently manage staff and store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the store

• Supervise, train and motivate staff

• Prepare staff rosters and manage shift coverage

• Maintain high standards of customer service

• Manage stock levels, ordering and supplier deliveries

• Monitor stock control, wastage and stocktakes

• Ensure shelves and displays are well presented and fully stocked

• Manage cash handling, POS and end-of-day procedures

• Assist with pricing, promotions and increasing store sales

• Maintain store cleanliness, presentation and security

About you

• Previous retail, supermarket, convenience store or bottle shop management experience

• Strong leadership and staff management skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Good stock control and organisational abilities

• Confidence working independently and taking responsibility for the business

• Availability to work a flexible full-time roster, including some evenings and weekends

• Current NSW RSA or ability to obtain one

• A hands-on attitude and strong work ethic
