About the role

Hi-Tech Roofing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Roof Plumbing Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis at our Salisbury South, South Australia location. In this supervisory position, you will oversee roof plumbing operations, manage teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality workmanship across residential projects. This role is pivotal to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, supervising staff, and liaising between management and on-site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate roof plumbing teams on various project sites, ensuring work meets quality standards and safety requirements

• Provide on-site instruction to plumbing staff regarding project specifications and safety protocols

• Monitor project schedules and resource allocation to ensure timely and effective completion

• Perform roof plumbing installations and repairs including guttering, downpipes, flashing, and related waterproofing works

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards

• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members regarding progress, issues, and resolutions

• Maintain detailed records of work completed

• Identify training needs and provide mentoring to junior plumbers and apprentices

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

• Current and valid roof plumbing licence or equivalent qualification recognised in South Australia

• Experience in roof plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity

• Strong knowledge of roof plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques including guttering, downpipes, flashing, and wall cladding

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

• Strong problem-solving abilities and practical experience in troubleshooting plumbing issues

• Solid understanding of health and safety requirements, building codes, and relevant legislation

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven ability to manage timelines and project coordination

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites as required

• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
