Fleet Allocator - 1 Day shift & 1 Night shift

ACFS Port Logistics has an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Allocator to join our established busy team one on day Shift and one on night shift.

Based at our Port of Brisbane site you will be working in the transport team reporting to the Transport Operations Manager.

Own reliable transport is absolutely essential

The primary objective of the Fleet Allocator is to be responsible for the allocation and scheduling of all fleet, ensuring strict delivery deadlines are adhered to. 

What your role can look like:

• Prioritising fleet workloads daily for deliveries to client sites

• Ensuring the fleet operates efficiently to minimise costs and time lost

• Maintain service levels and communication to clients and internal teams

• Manifesting trucks at terminals for import and export movements

• Booking containers for dehire to empty parks

What you can bring to us:

• Prior experience with managing a fleet of trucks for container deliveries

• Understanding of CoR requirements

• Knowledge of NHVR rules for fatigue, mass and maintenance

• Experience with landside container movements

• Sound skills with Microsoft office applications

• Experience in Maximas, Container Chain, 1-Stop and MT Data systems – (not essential, but desirable)

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
