Senior Maintenance & Reliability Consultant

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Maintenance & Reliability Consultant with a background in Mechanical engineering to join our Operational Management Solutions (OMS) team with a role based in Darwin.  

Based in a key client office and reporting to the Regional Manager, you will work primarily on packages and campaigns and work to:

• standardise maintenance plans across equipment types
• optimise maintenance plans by package / system
• review isolation boundaries, live vs shutdown
• identify maintenance items and frequency

Please note that we are only able to accept applications from Australian citizens or those who currently hold Permanent Residency (PR) and do not require company sponsorship to work lawfully in Australia.

To successfully secure this role you will have the following background, skills and qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent 
• 8 - 12 years experience in maintenance and reliability engineering
• Experienced in reliability engineering with appropriate qualifications and recent relevant experience in FMEA, RCM, ECA, PMO
• Asset Management qualifications or experience would be beneficial
• Operational maintenance experience working for / with an Oil & Gas operator is essential
• Strong safety focus and culture, appreciation for Control of Work protocols, understanding of isolation requirements and field execution of maintenance

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and prior experience in working collaboratively with client organisations on secondment
• Strong written communication skills for technical report writing
