As our Hotel continues to grow we're looking for a Shift technician (full-time) to join our Engineering team.

Your day to day

As Shift Technician, you will carry out daily maintenance/engineering operations for the entire Hotel.

You will be assisting the engineering team in a wide variety of tasks to ensure our hotel and building is well maintained, repairs attended to quickly, equipment working and the hotel presented well and to the standard of a luxury hotel.

You will ensure all work is delivered safely, on-time and remains compliant while delivering a high level of service to both guests and colleagues.

This role offers the opportunity to learn from a highly experienced, award-winning Director of Engineering and work with a dynamic, passionate Engineering team.

What we need from you

• Being passionate and enthusiastic about repairs and maintenance works of buildings

• Having positive attitudes towards learning and developing technical skills

• Hands-on experience of working with basic tools including power tools

• Handyperson experience in basic electrical / AC / plumbing / painting / carpentry works will be advantageous

• Engineering and/or technical educational background will be an advantage

• Good communication skills with strong attention to detail

• With no visa sponsorships are offered, you must meet legal requirements to live & work in Australia
