Employment Consultant – Dubbo (ATSI Identified)

The Employment Consultant Inclusive Employment Australia is responsible for leading, coaching and supporting participants to find employment.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting and understanding the clients’ barriers and work to develop employment goals
• Creating and sourcing employment opportunities
• Supporting and helping clients identify their skills, abilities, and secure sustainable employment
• Providing and delivering a high level of customer service to our clients, employers, and stakeholders
• Creating, tailoring, and implementing a partnered job plan
• Building sustainable and long-lasting relationships with local employers, registered training organisations and community organisations
• Explaining to employers the benefits and supports in hiring someone with a barrier/disability

Who are we looking for?

• Someone who can overcome objections and break down employment barriers
• Ability to deliver efficient and effective strategies to positively engage with employers
• Awareness of vulnerabilities and the positive effects of employment
• Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Well-developed problem-solving skills

To be considered:

• Have full working rights in Australia
• Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
• Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
• Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
• Ability to work Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm
